Bear hole

This was a large hole dug out by a bear, looking to feed on termites. There were large termite mounds everywhere. I don't know why the bear doesn't just knock down one of these things. You can see the claw marks in the dirt. Or are those shovel marks? Who knows if what these guides tell tourists is true?
