Our first night in Chiang Mai, we headed to Drunken Flower -- a place recommended by the Lonely Planet, and frequented by NGOs. There was a banjo-playing farang and a Thai singer -- good music. Alex ran into one of his friends from his stint in Chiang Mai five years ago -- this reccurred a couple more times during weekend.
