Our guesthouse in Pak Beng

That guesthouse was a bit ropey though mate!!
The bed was as hard as nails and I had a strange creature sleeping in the next room to me!! He was making weird noises at about 3am. It wasn't a snore, maybe he was having sex!! Then dogs started barking, then pigs were squeling (probabaly being killed in the street), then the chickens started crowing. Finally people started getting up for work and kids were crying, motorbikes were starting up.
And finally.....someone started a WOOD SAW at 6am in the morning!! I was very tired for our trip down the Mekong to Luang Prebang. Still, it was a beautiflu journey and it was also a good laugh.
Oh yeah, Emily reckons she got bitten on the, ahem pubic region by bedbugs. I am not so sure...
